Dancing All Night Will you pick this game up?

I have never played a rhythm game myself but I will be picking it up because its part of the persona series I guess. Hopefully I might actually get into the whole rhythm thing as well with it but we will have to see once I acquire it.

 

What repercussions can buying a videogame have?

 

If you choose to spend your money on spin offs then they will be encouraged to continue making more spin offs.

Now me personally, I would get this game but I downloaded a hatsune miku demo and sucked at it. So no

 

Considering that ATLUS is not a big company and that it hasn't been two years since its parent company went bankrupt, I don't really see a problem with ATLUS using a guaranteed cash cow franchise to ensure they get enough sales to keep the company in the green. They're a business after all, and developing games isn't cheap.

They still either develop or distribute other games outside of the spin-offs so it's not like it's spin-offs only from a certain point on. Buy a different game from them to support them, but the spin-offs exist because they're what sells. Unless there's a guarantee that every title they develop and release will sell at par with the franchise, the only outcome not buying a spin-off will do is limit the number of money that ATLUS can spend on developing other games. They're not like Squeenix that can spend 7 years on a single game title, after all.

 

I'm going to try that game on an emulator. Anything related to SMT or Persona must be worth it. Great series have great spin offs... most of the times.

I've never ever bought a rhythm game. One of my consoles game with guitar hero and that was the only rhythm game I've ever even played.... so ... nope not getting it!
