Would be nice to have this implemented. Even if you don't like the sound you can turn the damn thing off. IF I may ask to anyone who knows the answer, why was it removed?

I have been here the longest, either I'm losing my mind or @OGNinja was bantering you off. Maybe it was here for an hour or something as a test, but I don't remember ever getting an alarm for when I got an alert.
Dunno. I'm not sure either but I swear I remember there being notification sounds whenever I'm in a different tab. Only @Cemmos can correct this illusion.
There indeed was an audio beep in the past, it was removed due to a bug when having multiple tabs of the same site open — it would beep for every tab after an alert was received. I'll have to see if there's a way to get it implemented again at some point.
That would be pretty cool/helpful! Things like attack noises, demon cries, the Persona equip sound, and more would be neato.
