It's all really interesting but i was talking about SMT - i don't care about religions and such.
    Specifically about Lucifer in SMT 1 2 3 ( haven't played SMT 4)

  3. I personally find the differences between the real Lucifer and the one in SMT to be brilliant. Also, do you know why Lucifer has 6 wings?

The real one is said to have 12. Each representing one part of the 12 Israel lines. So why does Lucifer have 6? His corrupted form has 6, and his pure form (the one you call Helel) has 6. Together they add up to 12.

This was said by the man who designed Lucifer.

I thought you might have wanted to know, since you seem to really like Lucifer.

Also, this is kind of an extra, and nobody cares about it, but I'm a Muslim. I wasn't raised as a Christian or Jew or anything, but I know a fair share about their lore as well.

  4. even more awesome when you think about the line Kaneko said about Lucifers final form being a combination of his forms and this design he made

well Lucifer in SMT is the freedom loving guy who wants to kill tyrant god from old testament, pretty much the best showing of Lucifer in fiction. in 3 he states that the Great Will has created him, though it´s uknown if YHVH is meant or the will of the universe from SMT2

btw Muslim is also Abrahamic, old testament sounds to be pretty much the same, only the messiah/prophet thing seems to change
i also like "lucifers" story in the koran, or rather Iblis
  5. Islam is also an Abrahamic religion, but it considers the ones that came before it to be corrupted and changed by humans. Also Lucifer doesn't exist in Islam, neither does Metatron, and fallen angels are completely nonexistent too, because in Islam angels don't have free will.

YHVH himself said that "he is one of the avatars of a great being", I think that, in every SMT game we're fighting one of The Great Will's sides and avatars. YHVH is only a part of god and probably not even the main thing.

I'm just starting a playthrough of SMT on my SNES emulator and while it's different from the DS games, I'm actually having a good time playing it. Now if only IF would be completed soon...

I have not played any of them. However, this is the reason I joined this forum, to get a better grasp of the SMT franchise. I will start by playing the SMT game on an emulator.

I only beat Nocturne, and I still think it's the best in franchise so far. It's a masterpiece. I've played Strange Journey but haven't beat it. For some reason, it just doesn't hook me...

I've played more of the Persona spinoffs than SMT's but I have played the earlier ones. Of these I've only played part of Nocturne but I have completed 4. I loved 4 it was good. Nocturne felt to me very lonely and depressing but it had a well built atmosphere. I much preferred 4 although it had a weaker story but it was much more personable due to you having allies. As opposed to Nocturne with you being so lonely.
Both are well polished games though and I enjoyed them. Will go back to finish nocturne someday.

I have played all of them, but I only own a Japanese PS1 version of SMT 1, not the English IOS version.
