This is probably one of the SMT Persona games that I've spent the most amount of time with in total accumulative hours. Not adding all that up, though, my first playthrough ran roughly 78 hours for the true ending. This was on P4G, because I can't remember how many hours I put on my first playthrough on the PS2 version. I did play that one first though.

I got the true ending in P4G right at the 80 hour mark the first time. So I wasted just a little more time than you did.
I'd say 30 hours on P3, but by the time I got to the last dungeon, I was severely under-leveled and decided to go back and take the bad ending so I could replay and actually not be under-leveled and stand a chance at fighting the enemies.
My first playthrough of Persona 4 Golden was 100 hours - new game plus playthrough was 100 hours as well. It should've been a lot quicker but it was a 100% file (well... 100% for me).
about 60h for my fist run in any Megaten, after that anything is possible if it´s good and there are good options for maximizing stuff i can spend a couple hundreds of hours
I took around 85 hours with my friends console and his game with his help doing every side event I could see, so I meandered and didn't finish fast. I wasn't aiming too however; I just enjoyed the pacing and had fun. (P4G)
Around 40 hours. I never really went around to explore the television world, as I always do on the first playthrough and I'm not really a fan of level grinding either, I get bored just running around and fighting without ever progressing in the story. I also seem to have a godly ability to find the stairs to the next floor for some reason. LOL. No good endings for me though, I didn't know there was one, P3 didn't, I kinda thought it would be the same way. :T
It's been awhile, but I think I put near 80 hours into the game? I really had fun with it and put a lot of time into playing it. I hate to think what I will be spending on golden when I get that.
