This Discord server is integrated directly with Megami Fuse, a fan site focused on the MegaTen series. This means that you can log into Megami Fuse using your Discord account (after you've linked your accounts together), similar to using Facebook or Twitter to log in here.
By linking your Discord account with your Megami Fuse account, you will also confirm who you are within the community without manual verification from team members.
This will help to prevent impersonation and other such trolling. Linked accounts will automatically get moved around to matching roles on the Discord server based on your usergroups on Megami Fuse, and your nickname on the server will coincide with your username here.
Moderators will be moderators, admins will be admins, and so on.
Linking your Discord account to your Megami Fuse account is simple. Log in at Megami Fuse and head to your External Accounts Control Panel. Scroll down to the Discord Integration section and follow the steps to link your account. You will be asked to give Megami Fuse permission to view your account details; make sure to authorize these permissions.
You will see in real time the status of your membership here in our Discord server change based on these actions. If you believe you're not getting the Discord roles you think you should have, disassociate your Discord account from Megami Fuse and try again.
Note: this SMT Discord server is public and anyone is free to join, whether you're a member here at Megami Fuse or not. There are, however, some extra privileges that are granted to those that link their account from this site to their Discord account.
