Today, the Megami Fuse team and I are happy to announce that we’ve officially opened the Shin Megami Tensi Games Database. After a few days of coding and designing, we now have the template up and ready to be shown to the world.
Bear in mind that since this database is brand new, there are only a few games that have been added to it. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be pushing out more games into the database. Any help with game descriptions and the various content that goes into the database would be highly appreciated! If you’re currently playing any SMT title and you’d like to provide your own screenshots for the database, this is something we’d love to add into it; a little bit of uniqueness from Megami Fuse members by sharing their screen captures.

In the database, you’ll be able to filter which titles you’d like to see by selecting the console and/or play style of the game. The play style also includes genres (most of which will be role-playing), so you can easily search for a game on a system that you own and the type of play style you’d like to game with.
This new games database will replace the History of SMT page, as we feel it’s a more appropriate way of expressing our fandom for the MegaTen series.

I have this crazy idea of adding one piece of OST to get the feel of how varied soundtrack is in SMT and how much it fits each and evert game in tone, and how it sets up a tone and atmosphere on it's own.I always thought that soundtrack is one of the main things about SMT to begin with, so maybe having a sample track for every game wouldn't be so bad.It's really hard to think about SMT without immediately thinking about it's OST.

This is excellent news, now those who are largely unfamiliar with the series can now find all it’s gems (And all the pain that comes with it), once it’s fully completed of course.
Truuue! It will take a while, but I plan on adding a game every couple of days, so it shouldn’t be terribly long from now to be more complete.
Also, if anyone has any suggestions on anything they’d like to see specifically added to the games (like information), let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

That’s the only one I’ve added the OST to so far. Should we use specific clips as suggested, or the entire OST? Specific clips does seem like the way to go, particularly if we’re trying to capture the game in a single track. If we go that route, I might have to snip the audio from various sources and just upload them to our own YT channel.

Does it matter if we take screenshots from other sites or do you specifically want it to be our own made screenshots while we play?
Other screenshots are okay (so long as there’s no watermarks on them), but preferably your own screenshots. Gives a bit more variety in Google image search and uniqueness here on Megami Fuse.
