With the opening of the new SMT Games Database and Megami Fuse members’ interest in helping out with it, I thought it would be best to give some type of thank-you to those that do so! There will be more ways to earn the Contributor status on the forums than submitting to the Database Collaboration thread in the future, but at the moment this will be the only way of gaining the user role.

After obtaining this rank, you’ll also have access to the database’s back end, where you can more easily add games to the database instead of posting to the collaboration topic. Once you’ve saved the game, it will be added as a pending database game until a Megami Fuse team member has a chance to look it over and publish it.
As of right now, we’re thinking of more ways to enhance your contributions without taking anything away from those that don’t wish to contribute. For the time being, the two perks above are the only perks a contributor attains.

your name is lower cased for some reason
Yep, it’s the way that the front end of the site is coded vs the forum side (two different software that are bridged together). I believe in WordPress, usernames are lowercase by default. Then the display name is whatever capitalization you’ve used. It seems to show the username rather than display name.
